wish_girl @ 11:28 pm: Don't Fear The Reaper
All of times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
We can be like they are

Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...

Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity...
Romeo and Juliet

40,000 men and women everyday... Like Romeo and Juliet
40,000 men and women everyday... Redefine happiness
Another 40,000 coming everyday...We can be like they are

Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...

Half of two is one
Here but now they're gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear she couldn't go on
Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew then disappeared
The curtains flew then he appeared
Saying don't be afraid

Come on baby... And she had no fear
And she ran to him... Then they started to fly
They looked backward and said goodbye
She had become like they are
She had taken his hand
She had become like they are

Come on baby...don't fear the reaper

Satanic ode to suicide or tribute to young love and the inevitability of death? Discuss.
I haven't yet made up my mind...

So, on the subject of destructive things being given a new approach, how do you all feel about the anti-depressant movement?
How responsible are we for our own contentment/happiness? Or should we all be popping pills to find that much needed good mental health in our lives? More people are on anti-depressants now than ever before, and new ones are being developed everyday. Our serotonin levels are being toyed with more and more. Is this a helpful thing for society, or are we all being controlled by the drug companies selling us happiness in a capsule?!

Since we have some people, but no issues yet I shall try to kick start one. Michael Jackson as I'm sure most know has been dealing with charges of kid abuse. Besides all the side steeping and dodging court dates with "stress related illnesses". Mr. Jackson still hold himself to be not guilty. Here are my questions.

Do you believe that his behavior will effect the case results?

With the info you guys have of the case is he guilty or not?

Do you think the media goes out of the way to make him look bad?

popebarly @ 03:06 am: The 1st amendment was written not only for the right to speck, but gives us the responsibility to say what we believe, and to respond with others in mind. Bleeping words on T.V. and music is not censorship, because the point is still there. Only if your point is blocked from others is it censorship. "What's the point of having a voice if everyone is going to tell you it's wrong." Teaching and learning is the point when it comes to specking one's mind. To say that other people should not comment on your opinions is like saying that your voice should be louder then others. This is why I made issue in hand. People should speck, debate, and help themselves though the words of others. I don't expect life changing debate for people or for them to think the same way. I want others to educate others, by airing opinions on anything. From G.W. Bush to sandwiches. This is not be a place for debate, but for growing. A liberal mind can still be a closed one. (I just hope it just does not end up another gravestone in Lj's yard of dead journals)
